SUPPLY LIST 

SECOND GRADE

Office Depot is once again sponsoring the “Free Supplies for Your School” program.  Any supplies purchased at any Office Depot store or online using HCS ID# 70008935 will earn our school 5% credit for free supplies.

In order to be well prepared for the opening of school, each student is asked to bring the following list of supplies for class the first day of school.  Please mark everything in permanent marker with child’s first and last name.  Thank you!

5” Scissors (Fiskars)

5” x 8” pencil box (no larger)

Book bag or backpack

Erasers

3 Large Glue Sticks

1 yellow Highlighter

1 set thick Markers (non-toxic, washable) 6-8 in a set

1 set thin Markers (non-toxic, washable) 6-8 in a set

One bottle Elmer’s white glue

One box 24 crayons

2 dozen #2 pencils – sharpened (No names on these)

Small pencil sharpener (with container for shavings) (not battery operated)

3 Pee Chee (type) folders (no Trapper notebooks)

Color pencils – (12 pack)

1 box Huggies Baby Wipes

Each student (grades 1-4) must have a NIV Young Discoverer’s Bible.  The Bible may be purchased at any Christian Bookstore or in the school office.  The school price is $20.

We need parents to help collate workbook pages before school starts.  If you are interested in helping, please give your name to the school office and a teacher will call you in late August.
