TRAFFIC PATTERNS - DROP-OFF and PICK-UP
PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR SUGGESTED TRAFFIC ROUTES
FRONT ENTRANCE/EXIT
- Drop-off: Students in grades K, 1st and 2nd are to be dropped off in front of the school. Pull into a parking stall on the school side of the parking lot. Allow the children to get out of the car. Staff is on duty to supervise. Pull out of the stall and exit the parking area.
-
Entering and Exiting the Neighborhood: Please enter the neighborhood from Erskine (off Bushard) or Alisa (off Indianapolis) and exit the neighborhood via Pier View to Indianapolis or Spinnaker to Brookhurst. This will create a one-way flow of traffic, reduce coming and going traffic conflicts, and reduce traffic impacts on any one-neighborhood street. Note: No left hand turns are allowed when entering or exiting the school parking lots.
REAR ENTRANCE/EXIT
- Drop-off: Students in grades 3 through 8 will be dropped off in the back of the campus. Please enter the neighborhood from El Toro (off Atlanta) or Endever (off Brookhurst) and exit the neighborhood via Queens Park Lane to Atlanta. Do not use Queens Park Lane to enter the school. No left hand turns are allowed to enter or exit the parking lot. Pull into the lot and follow around the U-shape driveway. Do not let your children out before making the first turn. Follow all instructions from staff on duty. Have children ready to depart from the car. If you need to park, pull into a designated parking stall.
- Pick-up: Enter the parking lot at the rear of the school following same streets as the drop-off above. Pull as far forward around the loop as you can. Follow instructions of staff on duty. No cars will be allowed to exit until all children are in their cars. Do not attempt to pull around the car in front of you.

Kids' Overtime
Students should be dropped off and picked up from the front of the school. Use the eastern double doors to enter and leave the building. Students may arrive at 8:20 a.m. If they arrive earlier they will be charged for day care.
ALWAYS CONSIDER THE YOUNGEST STUDENT IN YOUR CAR WHEN SELECTING YOUR DROP/OFF AND PICK-UP AREA.
WALK/BIKE/WAIT OFF-CAMPUS POLICY
- A permission slip to walk or bike or be picked up off the campus must be on file in the school office.
- Any student who leaves the school campus by one of these methods is no longer under the school’s jurisdiction or liability and the parent assumes full responsibility for the child.

- Save money on gas.
- Gives children a great lesson on saving the environment.
- Meet other school families.
- Be able to rely on others in times of emergencies or car problems.
